Milwaukee County Easter Restaurant and Event Guide: 2022

MILWAUKEE, WI – Happy Spring, Easter and Passover! As warmer air settles in and the holiday weekend approaches, you may be looking forward to planning brunch, egg hunting, or cooking Sedar meals.

This year, Easter falls on Sunday, April 17, while Passover runs from April 15-22.

As you plan your weekend, here are some suggestions for brunch, dinner, and dining offerings throughout the Milwaukee area, as well as a list of events happening in the area.

Cubanitas Oak Creek

Located at 7973 Main Street in Oak Creek, Cubanitas Oak Creek will be open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday for brunch and “guavamosas,” the restaurant said in a Facebook post.

Meyer Restaurant and Bar

Meyer plans to host an Easter dinner on Sunday, including ham, Polish sausages, salad and more. The restaurant is located at 4260 South 76th Street in Milwaukee.

Sandra is in the park

Sandra’s On The Park, located at 10049 Forest Home Avenue in Hales Corners, plans to offer a unique Easter menu featuring seafood, steak, ham, salad and more. The spot will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., according to a Facebook post from the company.

bavarian beer house

The Bavarian Bierhaus, located at 700 Lexington Boulevard in Glendale, plans to offer a buffet on Easter Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. After. More information and reservations are available here.

Hubbard Park Lodge

The Hubbard Park Lodge, located in Shorewood in Hubbard Park, plans to host a brunch buffet from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Menu items vary between cheeses, potatoes, an omelet bar, carving station and more. Telephone reservations are required: 414-273-8300.

Chez Joey Gerard

Joey Gerard’s, located at 5601 Broad Street in Greendale, plans to host an Easter brunch. For more details and to make reservations, visit the restaurant’s website.

The packing house

The Packing House, located at 900 East Layton Avenue in Milwaukee, will be open Easter Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. with a full menu and traditional Easter dinner of honey roast ham and other accompaniments.

Le Cellier Pub and Grill

Easter bunny events, Easter egg hunts

Many Easter egg hunts in Milwaukee communities have already taken place, but if you’re looking for one, here are a few to consider:

Franklin Historical Society Easter Egg Hunt

The Franklin Historical Society has scheduled its first open house of the year to coincide with the Franklin Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday at 10 a.m., the society announced on Facebook. The historical society buildings will be open for tours after the hunt.

The courts are located at 8050 South Legend Drive in Franklin.

Shorewood Men’s Club Easter Egg Hunt

The Shorewood Men’s Club has scheduled its annual Easter Egg Hunt from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday in Hubbard Park, the Village of Shorewood announced.

Hales Corners Lions Club Easter Egg Hunt at Whitnall Middle School

The Hales Corners Lion Club has scheduled its Easter Egg Hunt and Pancake Breakfast Saturday at 9 a.m. at Whitnall Middle School, 5025 S 116th Street in Greenfield.

The egg hunt begins in the woods behind the college with breakfast to follow. Hunters should bring their own baskets and good footwear is recommended. The cost of breakfast ranges from $7 for adults to $3 for children 10 and under, according to a Lions Club Facebook event.
