Wisconsin football ended the first day of signing in a big way, with the program securing the signing of four-star state defensive end Isaac Hamm.
The last major target in the state is four-star offensive lineman Carson Hinzman. An engagement from the Hammond, Wis. Native would mean a 4/6 for Wisconsin in the “Super Six” class (Hinzman, Hamm, Braelon Allen, Joe Brunner, Jerry Cross of Penn State and Billy Schrauth of Notre Dame).

Hinzman had originally planned to announce his engagement today. However, the four-star rookie tweeted last night that he would need more time before making a final decision.
So that means Wisconsin is still in a close battle with Ohio State to land the state’s No. 2 rookie, No. 134 player in class, and No. 6 inside offensive lineman.
Sorry for the confusion, I won’t be signing tomorrow because the schools I have the chance to decide on are so amazing that it makes my decision extremely difficult and I’m going to need a little more time. Thank you
